Has Webmaster Radio Forgotten About Webmasters?

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007

Many of the geeks out there that regularly listen to WMR know that the content of their stream is awesome. Shows like SEO Rockstars, Net Income and Good Karma are chock-full of high value information. Tips you may search for all month on Digital Point can be garnered in just a few hours of listening to a few of their podcasts.

But what happens when any business starts to forget (or take for granted) their target audience?

Without remembering who got you to where you’re at, failure.
Without a customer-first attitude, failure.

Kick-Ass Hangout of the Year

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Actually, not just of the year, but more like of the century.

If you’re wanting to get involved in SEM or the like, I highly suggest you visit the Webmaster Radio chat room. If you’re a noob, I suggest you sit back and watch, don’t just jump in and start asking people to fix your website.

If you’ve got mIRC, set the logging to save to a local text file. Then when you’re away, simply change your nick (usually to something like nick_ or nick_away) and minimize your screen. That way people won’t try to talk to you, and you’ll log any conversations that might interest you.

And with people like SeGuru, ShoeMoney, DaveN (and plenty more) hanging out, you never know when one of those sweet nuggets of information just may pop up.
